Gabby’s has been serving “slow smoked Texas barbecue” for over 25 years, but didn’t promote anything that was substantially different. The owners decided to hang their hat on ribs, and “Rib Fest” was born. A local country artist provided the music. The campaign generated instant sales increases for all locations- not only on weekends but throughout the week.

The sales for barbeque in Houston spike during rodeo time. Paired with Rib Fest spots and a radio campaign, we produced this simple spot illustrating the “all you can eat” rib fest with our hungry cowboy.
Oreck Vacuum Cleaners
Oreck is renowned for their powerful vacuum cleaners. But many consumers were not aware of the 22+ locations in Dallas and Houston. We developed a new TV campaign that illustrated that an Oreck vacuum cleaner can, in fact, be purchased in their neighborhood. The stated goal was a 2-3% increase in sales. The campaign resulted in a 48% sales increase. Oreck commented that the new campaign was not “earth shattering”-- It was “planet shattering”.
Villas di Tuscany Development
"All Roads Lead to Tuscany"
Villas di Tuscany is a gated townhome development with significant amenities, however since the development is hidden behind walls, prospective buyers cannot easily view the project.
Even after significant newspaper advertising, traffic remained low.
The solution was to show prospective homebuyers and realtors the project through the visual medium of television.
SmartShield Suncare
"Live Smart"
SmartShield's 2007-08 television campaign was filmed in the parks in and around Austin, Texas. The message focuses on skin cancer awareness in Texas and the invisible feel of the sunscreen that "feels like wearing nothing at all". Customer testimonials represent the main customer segments that purchase SmartShield sunscreen. Each spot concludes with the "Live Smart. Play Smart. Be Smart." tagline. All spots were filmed in High Definition (HD) format.

Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill wanted to position themselves as "the place" to go for mesquite-grilled food, fresh-fixin's and a relaxed family atmosphere. Dramatic sales increases soon followed.
Hotze Health & Wellness
"Guest"
Every company wishes that they had a unique sales proposition. Hotze Health & Wellness has that in spades. Each patient is treated as a guest and the overall feeling is that of visiting a spa rather than a clinic. A series of commercials were developed- highlighting the special Hotze amenities offered.
KILT
"Sista"
KILT radio had been the heritage rock station in Houston for 35 years. When the decision was made to switch programming to country another decision had to be made: How to keep as many core listeners and at the same time draw listeners from one of the best know country stations in the nation? A series of outrageous commercials built around the phrase “Be Sweet” theme and a Nashville actor in drag did the trick. These spots were the talk of the town and kept KILT the most listened to station in the market.
KILT
"Cash"
Every radio station has contests, but none as aggressive as KILT. Spots were produced that were built the station personalities who would call homes at specific advertised times. If a person answered the phone with “KILT is going to make me rich!” they got $125,000. KILT listeners won over a million dollars and ratings soared. The effects lasted well into the next year.
Sky Ranch Camp
"Sky Ranch Summer 2006"
A fast paced, exciting spot was created to let youngsters know that SkyRanch Camps was “cool” and remind mom’s how camp can create a lifetime of memories. Skyranch wanted to fill camp sessions quickly- this targeted TV blast was the answer. Spots were run on local and cable news shows plus Oprah and all the sessions were filled.
Houston Garden
Centers
"Chimp"
Research revealed that the majority of Houstonians were aware of Houston Garden Centers but still purchased plants from Home Depot and Lowe’s simply because it was convenient. The chimpanzee theme presented our sales points in a friendly, light hearted way- letting customers know they had a better alternative to shopping at a big box store.
Pepperoni's Pizza
"Tomato"
How to challenge the pizza chains without killing your margins with coupons? Show folks that your pizza is different and better. A series of budget-friendly spot’s were created- each showcasing the ingredients that went into a Pepperoni’s Pizza: The crust, the sauce, the toppings and the cheese. Each has a story to tell.
Los Tios
"Houston Tex-Mex"
A short circuiting neon sign drives home the point of Los Tios being the “official home of Houston Tex-Mex”. Not long after this campaign started, Los Tios was voted “Houston’s favorite Tex-Mex” restaurant!
